Y a plus qu’à se lancer !!!
A few thoughts about the 2 films by some pupils from 2nde2:
“I’ve loved The Quiet Girl because it’s calm and relaxing. I’ve cried at the end… Sean is my favourite character because he’s cool and kind.” Y. D.
“The film The Quiet Girl is a moving story which I particularly loved. It’s the story of a little girl neglected by her own family and who is sent to another family, a woman and a man who runs a farm. There, Cait discovers affection and attention they give her and that she has never known before with her own parents. The film is about themes such as solitude, childhood and the quest for love. Cait is a very touching girl. That’s why I recommend it to you because it’s a film not to be missed!”
“The Quiet Girl takes us to another time, so close but also so different… The most loving part is when the man begins to take care of Cait.”
M. C.
“The Quiet Girl is about relationships that we can have within our family, with our parents, but also about grief, all the steps and the pain. It really speaks to me… It is one of the best films I’ve seen this year, better than Oppenheimer.” S. J.
“Scrapper tells the story of Georgie, a little girl aged 12, who has been living alone since her mother’s death… Her dad comes back then and all along the movie, we see the evolution of this newborn relationships that hasn’t been really easy.” J. L.
“The story of Scrapper made me see how strong this little girl is. I’ve put myself into her shoes. Watching her story touched me very much because her story makes you think of your own and how lucky we are.” J.L.
“Scrapper is a family movie accessible to everyone with a good plot and that’s what make it so good. It’s dramatic and humoristic at the same time.”
“This film Scrapper shows that if the truth is told, everything is better. It also shows that communication is very important, especially in relationships.” E.R.
